About the Job
Linck Child, Youth & Family Supports (“Linck”) requires one (1) Supported Living Supervisor for expanded supervisory coverage. This is a permanent, full-time (70 hours bi-weekly) position where primary coverage is 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with flexibility to work days, afternoons, weekends, and on-call shifts as required to meet operational needs. 
 
In collaboration with the Supported Living Day Supervisor, the incumbent shares responsibility for the coordination and supervision of a team providing support to children and youth awaiting alternate care, treatment, or placement. The incumbent will coordinate team scheduling, provide oversight of program operations, and mentor/lead frontline staff to maintain a safe and structured environment for children and youth, while managing placement resources. 
 
Qualifications:  
· Successful completion of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Child and Youth Care preferred. Completion of a degree in a related field would be considered.
· An equivalent combination of education and demonstrated relevant experience would be considered.
· preference will be given to candidates with progressive residential treatment experience
· completion of the Child Welfare Pathway to Authorization Series and/or those who are Authorized Workers is considered an asset;
· demonstrated leadership ability, including experience supporting, mentoring, and supervising staff;
· thorough and practical knowledge of the Child, Youth and Family Services Act (CYFSA), foster care legislation and standards, children and youth in care, and the range of placement resources available both within and outside the foster care system;
· demonstrated ability to develop and sustain responsive service plans and living arrangements for children and youth
· strong collaboration, partnership-building, and stakeholder engagement skills; 
· knowledge of therapeutic approaches and the ability to foster safe, structured, and therapeutic living environments for children and youth;
· excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, interpersonal, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills;
· commitment to providing culturally responsive, equitable, and inclusive services to the communities served by the Agency;
· ability to communicate in French is considered an asset;
· valid driver's license and access to a reliable personal vehicle.
