About the Job
Linck Child, Youth & Family Supports ("Linck") requires one (1) Supported Living Supervisor for extended program coverage. This is a contract, full-time (70 hours bi-weekly) position lasting for a period of one (1) year.

The incumbent is accountable to contribute to the leadership vision of the organization for advancement of Linck’s mission. Working collaboratively with their counterpart, the incumbent shares responsibility for the leadership, coordination, and supervision of Supported Living services, including program oversight, supporting staff, coordinating schedules, managing placement resources, and providing operational leadership ensuring delivery of warm, consistent, and high-quality services to children and youth.

Qualifications:
  • Diploma in Child and Youth Care is preferred; B.A. in a related human services field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
  • Progressive experience in residential treatment, supported living, congregate care, child welfare, or a related service setting, with demonstrated application of trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches to support safe environments for children and youth.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through others by setting clear expectations, coaching and developing staff, delegating, and maintaining accountability for program practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify patterns and emerging needs, translating individual situations and behavioural trends into program strategies, team practices, and service improvements.
  • Thorough knowledge and application of the Child, Youth and Family Services Act (CYFSA), relevant legislation, standards, regulations, and practice requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, monitor, and adjust responsive service and residential plans for children and youth with complex needs.
  • Demonstrated strong collaboration, stakeholder engagement, communication, conflict-resolution, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, coordinate staffing resources, and respond effectively to changing strategic, operational, and service needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in high-intensity environments and respond to complex behavioural, emotional, and relational needs with professionalism, consistency, and sound judgment.
  • Ability to communicate in French is considered an asset.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable personal vehicle are required.
